Mixed Martial Arts

Mixed Martial Arts is a sport that incorporates striking, grappling and ground fighting from various martial arts from around the world. Mixed martial arts training is a great physical workout, no question, but it is much more than that! It can build your self-confidence because you learn how to defend yourself against an aggressor. The training will expose you to challenging situations where you learn to focus and perform under pressure. It also helps with goal setting through the use of our ranking systems and self-discipline as you learn to control emotions and impulses.

Brazilian jiu-jitsu

Brazilian jiu-jitsu is a martial art and combat sport system that focuses on grappling with particular emphasis on ground fighting. BJJ advocates the concept that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend themselves against a bigger, stronger, heavier opponent. By using technique, leverage, and most notably, taking the fight to the ground, one can defend and then defeat the opponent by applying joint locks and choke-holds.
